Today our computers started working =]

As I walked into the class from a dull day a smiling Mr.Weiss informed us that we finally were going to use a computer again. After a whole month of no computers we finally got to type something on the computer. Surprisingly! the keyboards didnt make the clickity clack sound it usually makes. The sudents in the class were all excited and happy to type without noise . Then it dawned on me , now we have to do work in class instead of
“brainstorming” . That! wasn’t that nice of a feeling =(

Shawty is a 10; by now everyone remotely interested in the R&B and Hip-Hop scene knows where that line came from. The Dream dominated the radio when he released his first single off of his album ,”Shawty is a 10″. This is Dream’s debut album, titled ” Love me all summer Hate me all winter “( or ” LoveHate” for short) and with his amazing song writing abilities (having written “Umbrella” for Rihanna and “Bed” for J.Holiday) and his unique voice there is no reason why this album won’t be a hit and a awesome start to his singing career.

The songs on this album are “very sexy and chill, you can sit back and listen to every single track without pressing skip once”, commented freshman Sloanne Carries.

“Falsetto”, “Luv Songs”, and “Playin’ in her Hair” are just a few of the songs on the album that are addicting and flat out incredible. According to Wikipedia.org the album was written and recorded in only nine days, with the content on this album down to the lyrics , and beats one would think it spent a year if not more to accomplish this.

” I like the dream , he’s hot right now and in my opinion always will be , I love how he didn’t jam his first album with a whole bunch of well known artists, he’s going to sell millions and it’s not because Lil’ Wayne was on the track ” , stated freshman Paige Martinez .

The soulful Alicia Keys has graced the R & B music industry with her strong voice and touching lyrics for the past six years and now after a three year hiatus she’s back! Her new album, “As I Am” can’t be described as anything less than amazing. Her soulful voice and meaningful lyrics are a refreshing reminder on what R & B is all about.

The album is filled with incredible love songs such as “No One” , the first single off her album. The songs “Like You’ll Never See Me Again” and “Superwoman” really showcase her powerful singing voice and the reason why all of her previous albums [2001: Songs in A Minor , 2003: The Diary of Alicia Keys ,and 2005: Unplugged] were #1 in the U.S.

This album is some of Keys’ best work
“Her voice is so strong and captivating,” states freshman Maria Guzman. With nine Grammy Awards, eleven Billboard Music Awards, and three American Music Awards under her belt, this new album is sure to gain a few more for her collection.

Chris Brown – 3rd[hopefully final] Draft ?

November 20, 2007 · Leave a Comment

Two years after he blew up in the United States , Japan , and Australia Tappahannock, Virginia native, Chris Brown, has released his released his second album, titled “Exclusive”. Which is sure to top the success of his first album.

Brown’s first album, which was self-titled “Chris Brown”, entered the U.S. Billboard Top 200 chart at number two selling more than 15,500 copies. Within five weeks of the release, and at the age of sixteen, Chris  Brown’s the album went platinum.

The second single off of his album “Exclusive” , “Kiss Kiss”, is a song similar to his earlier work. It is a very fun song that had the majority of his fans singing along within the first few listenings.

Another song, “Take You Down”, has a very different, grown- up feel, with some risky lyrics and some mature content but not mature or risky enough to alienate his original fan base.

“The new album is more mature , the songs can appeal to an older group but at the same time it still kinda sounds like the first one”say’s Maria Guzman

The single “You”. is a soft, love song in which he demonstrates his amazing singing abilities and the reason he is such a hit with the ladies. His song,
“Wall to Wall” is an upbeat dance song that caught many people’s attention, and was the cause for most of the hype throughout the album.

If your in the mood for dancing Brown’s album has a song for you . If your feeling down Brown’s album has a song for you. If your feeling in love his album has a song for you .

Overall this album is something his original fansbase and his newer fans who aren’t necessarily from the highschool scene can enjoy fully and won’t have to press skip on any song.

WROTE iT KiNdA 0VER :)
I’m really happy with it actually .

oh and , I’m sorry but I really didn’t like how the Brown* thing sounded in the article over and over and over again , so I only used it a few times =/

Brown was 16 at the time and now, two years later he has released his sophmore album titled “Exclusive”.
